Etna Live – Real-Time Webcam
Etna is the largest active volcano in Europe — and quite often, that's visible live. This stream comes directly from INGV (Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia), the official body monitoring the volcano, showing the crater area in real time.
What you're looking at
Whether you'll see smoke, ash, or even lava fountains depends on the weather and current activity — Etna is unpredictable, and that's part of what makes it Etna. The view is usually most striking in the evening or at night, when glowing lava or plumes of smoke stand out against the dark sky.
This webcam is not a substitute for official warnings. For current volcanic alert levels, check directly with INGV.
